Client: Carmel Carpets LTD.The design intent was to create an environment that implies by its appearance that it is made for comfortable, informal seating. The hilly cushions invite relaxation and play. The carpet, comprising a flat surface and carefully placed zippers, can be zipped up and transformed into a series of ‘hills’ on which users can lean. When the carpet needs to be vacuumed, the zippers can be unzipped and the carpet again becomes a flat surface.
